Maruti Suzuki launched their first ever off roader 'JIMNY' into the Indian market. It could be a

completely different type of vehicle by Suzuki to the Indian market but on looking to the international

market Jimny is an very successful model due to their off road capabilities and they can handle any terrain easily.

This was an much awaited model among the Indian auto enthusiasts, and finally it's here. The

Jimny is a 3,820mm longer, 1,645mm wider and 1720mm taller sports utility vehicle with an ground

clearance of 210mm and have a 1,462 cc 1.5 L 4 cylinder petrol engine generates a power of

103.39bhp @ 6000rpm and a maximum torque of 134.2nm @ 4000rpm and gives an average mileage

of 16.94 kmpl. This comes with an AWD (All Wheel Drive) 5 speed manual and 4 speed automatic

transmissions.

The Jimny is a 5 door - 4 seater vehicle offered with 6 variants named Alpha, Alpha Dual Tone,

Alpha AT, Alpha Dual Tone AT, Zeta, Zeta AT and price starts from Rs. 12.74 lakh upto 15.05 lakhs.

When comparing to the rivals of this segment, this is the most affordable 4x4 in Indian market.
